7 වැනි පිටුව යනු වික්ටර් අයිවන් 2011 සහ 2012 යන වසර දෙකේදී රාවය පුවත්පතට ලියූ ලිපි අතරින් තෝරාගත් ලිපි 28ක එකතුවකි. ඔහුගේ ලිපි එකතුවක් ලෙස පළ කරන ලෙස බොහෝ දෙනා ඉල්ලා සිටියහ. ඔහුට වැඩිම බලපෑමක් කළේ මහනුවර ධර්මරාජ විද්‍යාලයේ කමල් සිරිවර්ධන මහතා ය. එවැනි එකතුවක් වර්තමානයේ පමණක් නොව, අනාගතයේ ද ලංකාවේ අර්බුදය හදාරන අයට ඉතා ප්‍රයෝජනවත් වනු ඇති බව කියමින්, එයට ‘හත්වැනි පිටුව’ යනුවෙන් නම් කරන ලෙස ඉල්ලා සිටියේ ඔහු ය.

Page 7 collects 28 articles chosen from those Victor Ivan wrote for Ravaya in 2011 and 2012. Many readers had asked him to gather his Ravaya articles into a book. The one who influenced him most was Kamal Siriwardena of Dharmaraja College, Kandy. He argued that such a collection would help readers, both now and in the future, understand Sri Lanka’s crisis, and he asked that it be called “the seventh page”.
The articles include the end of the Arab Spring, the youth hatred and unrest behind the JVP and LTTE uprisings, and how Gandhi is relevant to Sri Lanka today. Others deal with the media that “killed justice” and the disputed role of the Attorney General.
